The new Taste
Hey everybody!!!! I am transforming taste into a different genre of a blog. This is how it will be changed. I would write articles about stores, shopping, food, and places to go in NYC. I Will also be asking the veiwers what they want to do but don’t know where to go.
For example: From anonomous veiwer
Where do I go eat with my girlfriend, it’s her Bday and I want to take her somewhere special, someplace that’s fine dining.
Then I write an article about where that person should go. But most of the time I would be writing randomly on my opinion. Thank you veiwers!!

The best Japanese overall on the Upper Westside is Gari. Gari has a really delicate way of looking at sushi. The fish cut perfectly, has great ambiance, and the most amazing food. I recommend for a starter dish either the short ribs, or the tuna tar tar. The short ribs has the right amount of tenderness, the most perfect teriaki sauce, and a great production. The tuna tar tar has a nice seaweed cracker to put the tar tar on, and the tuna is seasoned perfectly which makes the tuna and the cracker match perfectly. I also recommend the salmon sushi Gari style, the tuna sushi Gari style, and the eel sushi Gari style. The salmon sushi Gari style is salmon sushi but with sauteed tomatoes which goes amazing with the salmon and rice. The tuna sushi Gari style is tuna sushi with tofu sauce on top (I know tofu, it sounds gross but it’s pretty good). The eel is different than an regular eel roll it’s mashed with eel sauce in it and crunch, and on the bottom is two pieces of avocado and rice. It’s the best!!! I recommend anything at Gari. If you would like to go to Gari it’s on 76th and columbus.
If you have kids or you just love Italian, go to Campo. Campo has a great atmosphere, and great food to enjoy. I have to say one of my favorite pasta dishes is the Aribiatta because, it has a great flavor of spice, and herbs (which gives the dish a little kick). Campo has the best thin crust pizza ever because, the tomato sauce blends with the nicely grilled pizza. I recommend this restaurant to anybody. If you want to go to Campo, it’s on 112th and broadway on the right side

Cheap But Excellent Japannese
If you don’t want to spend to much on Japanese food go to Tenzan. Cooked or raw everything turns out amazingly
good. If you like sushi I recommend the Spicy Salmon roll
or a California roll. When I pick up a roll at any Japanese
restaurant you don’t feel the same comfort than you do at Tenzan. I recommend anything at Tenzan
n cooked or raw it is amazing. If you don’t like raw food then I recommend the miso soup, the salmon skin salad, the seaweed salad, the shrimp shumai, or any cooked meal on the menu.
Tenzan is located on Columbus ave between 73rd and 74th.

TUNA TARTAR
The best Tuna tar tar is at Vai. The tuna tar tar is spectacular. The flavor of the olive oil and the flavorful taste of the tuna and avocado makes it all a plate full of magic. I personally recommend anything on the menu if you bring young child they can make plain pasta, or with tomato sauce. If you would like to go to Vai it is on 77th between Broadway and Amsterdam.

THE BURGER
THE BEST BURGER OR CHEESE BURGER. I THINK THE BEST BURGER IS NICE MATINS FIVE NAPKIN BURGER. WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THEIR BURGER IS, THE CHEESE YOU DON’T HAVE TO EAT THE CHEESE ON THE BURGER BUT WHO EVER LIKES CHEESE I THINK THEY WILL LOVE IT. SO THE BURGER WITH CHEESE HAS GRUYERE CHEESE AND COOKED ONIONS. (TRUST ME I NOT A BIG FAN OF ONIONS BUT THIS BURGER IS GREAT.) THE RESTAURANTS FOOD IS ALL VERY GOOD. IF YOU WANT TO GO TO NICE MATIN IT IS ON WEST 79TH STREET AND AMSTERDAM AVENUE.

THE SIDE DISH
THE BEST SIDISH IS THE RED CATS TEMPURA SRING BEANS. THEY ARE SO FANTASTIC EVERYONE AROUND YOU ORDERS IT . THE CRISP AND THE HEAT OF THE STRING BEANS ARE YUMMY IT IS SO AMAZING, SO I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I THINK THE BEST PIZZA IS BETTOLAS PIZZA MARGARITA THIN CRUST . WHAT I LIKE ABOUT BETTOLAS PIZZA IS THE TOMATO SAUCE!! I LOVE THEIR TOMATO SAUCE IT IS SOO GOOD! I LOVE EVERY SINGLE THING ABOUT THAT PIZZA. IF YOU WANT TO GO TO BETTOLA ORDER ANYTHING, I THINK WHAT EVER YOU GET I BET IT IS GOOD. BETTOLA IS ON WEST 79TH STREET AND AMSTERDAM.

I THINK THE BEST BREAD BASKET IS AT BLT MARKET. WHAT I LIKE ABOUT BLT MARKETS BREAD BASKET IS IT IS NOT A BASKET IT IS A KIND OF SEE THROUGH PAPER BAG, IT IS NOT PLAIN OLD SOUR DOUGH BREAD WICH THEY NORMALLY SERVE (WITCH IS GOOD.) IT IS GARLIC BREAD SOAKED IN BUTTER. I AM A BIG FAN OF IT, EVEN MY MOM WHO DOSN’T EAT ALOT OF BREAD LOVES IT!! A LITTLE ADVISE DONT ORDER TONS OF FOOD BECAUSE THERE IS GREAT DESSERT. I LOVE THE HOT CHOCOLATE. HIP CASUAL.
